ziptie.ai started as a search-indexing tracker. We wanted to understand the technical machinery behind how search engines decide what to show - deeper than anyone else was looking.
The deeper we went, the more often we ran into the same answer: machine learning. ML was already shaping ranking, retrieval, and relevance everywhere we looked, and it was clearly going to keep growing.
So when Google announced its Search Generative Experience back in 2023 - what later became AI Overviews and AI Mode - we weren't surprised. We were ready, and we shipped one of the first tools that let brands see exactly how AI search engines describe them. We've kept pace with the landscape ever since.
Today ziptie.ai is an accuracy-first, flexible AI search monitoring platform built for teams that need to act on what AI is saying about their brand. We track ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, Bing AI Overview, and Google Gemini.

How we handle your data
Your projects, prompts, and the AI answers we collect for you sit on dedicated hardware in the United States, with encrypted backups in Amazon S3, also in the United States. If your procurement review needs the international transfer terms, ask us and we will answer directly. We do not use your content, prompts, or monitored queries to train AI models, and we do not sell personal data.
Every subprocessor behind the product - the AI gateway, the answer-collection providers, payments, email, hosting - is named in our Privacy Policy, along with what it handles and where it processes data. We run an information-security program built around the SOC 2 Security, Availability, and Confidentiality criteria, and the SOC 2 Type II program is in progress: we are not certified yet, and we will not claim otherwise until an auditor says so.

One form, three reasons to use it: a sales question, product support, or a security report. If the standard configurator does not fit, send us your prompt volume, how often those prompts need checking, and the engines you want covered, and we will quote a custom plan against those numbers. Single sign-on is a separate entitlement rather than part of any preset, so ask for it here: tell us whether your provider speaks OIDC or SAML 2.0 and the email domains your people sign in with, and we will turn the entitlement on for your workspace. Your workspace owner then creates the connection in workspace settings and proves each domain with a DNS TXT record. For a security report, put “security” in your message.
